Muslim Mosque near NYC 9/11 Ground Zero

Increasing incidents of anti-Muslim activity and rhetoric in the USA is deplorable.

Many conservative radicals (my words) call for all Muslims to leave the USA because "we are a Christian country". They are outraged that a Muslim mosque might open within a few blocks of Ground Zero.

I maintain that our Constitution and Declaration of Independence call for a nation of religious freedom - not a Christian-only society.

Many Muslims have died by the hands of terrorist acts including the World Trade Center 9/11 attack. Muslims should be able to express their sorrow and remembrance the same as anyone else.
